Big....Bold....Beautiful....Horalas is truly an extraordinary stallion. Imported to the USA in 2002, Horalas is the fifth-ranked Trakehner in international showjumping competition for 2000/2001 (source: Trakehner Hefte July 2002 and ATA Newsletter Sept/Oct 2002). Horalas is two-time National Showjumping Champion of Lithuania and winner of the 2001 Vilnius Grand Prix (World Cup Qualifier), and that was before he got together with Hap Hansen. Horalas is currently competing at Grand Prix, and in 2003 has won the $25,000. Oaks Spring Classic Grand Prix, the $35,000 Oaks Blenheim Summer Festival Grand Prix, placed 11th in the $175,000 Cargill Grand Prix of the U.S., and had an in-the-money finish at the $1 million Canadian International. Approved by the Lithuanian Trakehner Association (a full daughter organization of the German Verband), Horalas boasts a regal pedigree that traces to the most influential sires of the famed Trakehnen Central Stud. On his sire's side, he has the lines of PILGER (through Topkij and Etiud), and DAMPFROSS (through Pilgrim and Piramida). On his dam's side, he has PILGER again, and HOCKEY (premium stallion at Kirov Stud).
