Remington Steele is a 1988 US and Canadian Top Ten Stallion; an outstanding pedigree filled with some of the breed's top show horse producing lines. His sire, GAFFIZON++, is the 1975 US Top Ten Stallion, a Legion of Merit winner and the sire of 10 National winners in halter and english pleasure. Shown out of a trailer by a catch handler at age 3, Remington trotted into the ring a big, bold, dazzling white, charismatic colt and came out show champion stallion. He went to win 22 firsts in halter with 12 Grand Champions a 3 Top Tens in Scottsdale, US and Canada! At his very fist show under saddle, Remington won Western Pleasure Champion with Dean Lacey as well as many firsts in Hunter Pleasure with a junior rider. In his second show, Sheri Lacey added Native Costume, and Remington went show champion in that division while still winning in Western and Hunt, garnering High Point Horse. Remington has Top Tenned a 50 mile endurance ride and completed the Western States 100-Miles-In-One-Day ride, thereby winning the coveted "Tevis" buckle. Remington, a prepotent sire, has produced, among other exceptional offspring, the phenomenal gelding "Steele the Show", who won both the Cal Bred and Nor Cal Futurities, both yearling and two year old Regional Sweepstakes purses, and was both US top Ten Futurity and Open Top Ten gelding as a three year old.
