Imported as a youngster from the UK, Forest Fellow is a handsome, functionally correct horse with an excellent disposition. Of only four shows at halter, he has placed Grand Champion, Reserve Champion, or Second. He is broke to drive. Significant ancestors include Mulgrave Supreme (owned by HM the Queen), Forest Superman (from whom most Cleveland Bay dressage horses descend), and Forest Saga; all premium stallions who have won the King George V Cup multiple times. Cleveland Bays are considered a rare and endangered breed, despite being used extensively to upgrade other breeds, particularly Warmbloods and Thoroughbreds for a variety of uses. Crossbred offspring excel at dressage, driving, jumping, three-day eventing, foxhunting, combined driving, pleasure, and ranch roping horses. In fact, all four reserve horses of the British Olympic Gold Medal Team in Mexico were crossbred Cleveland Bays. For further information and breeding contracts, contact Linda Yaciw by e-mail at lyaciw@nlc.bc.ca or visit her website at http://www.pris.bc.ca/horses. Frozen semen stored and shipped from Calgary, Alberta, and from Pacific International Genetics in USA. Contact P.I.G. for USA shipping, or for mare board and breeding information.
